Welcome to the 2023 Winter League!
Dear Parents and Volunteers,
Thank you for participating in the 2023 Winter League. If you are new to PVYBL, welcome! If you are a returning family, welcome back!
This is our winter season’s 5th anniversary and support from the community is stronger than ever. Over 1,500 kids have enrolled to play, including nearly 400 girls. Both numbers once again set new records for recreational basketball in Palos Verdes!
During the past month, more than 350 of our volunteer coaches, division coordinators, and league managers have worked tirelessly preparing the 170 teams in 17 divisions for the start of the season.
For new players, their high-quality, personalized, and reversible uniforms will be distributed by the coaches. Not only do they look awesome, they are reusable in future seasons. All players and coaches will receive our limited-edition, “5 Year Anniversary” commemorative pin to add to their collection. In addition, all girls who enrolled before the deadline will receive a newly-designed PVYBL hoodie! If you ordered any merchandise, the coaches will distribute those too.
You should be hearing from the coach in the next 2 weeks. If not, please contact your Division Coordinator for assistance.
