Be a Scorekeeper with the Palos Verdes Youth Basketball League!
The Palos Verdes Youth Basketball League (PVYBL) is one of the largest recreational youth sports leagues in the South Bay area, with over 1,500 kids from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade participating.
Each season we select a number of high school and middle school-aged volunteers to be Scorekeepers at our games. It's fun, fast-paced, and a great way to volunteer for your community and gain leadership skills.

You can volunteer as much or as little as you like. Game schedules will be posted before the start of the season. You will be able to sign-up for the games yourself.
No experience necessary. Knowledge of basketball is helpful, but not required.
Our season runs from December through the end of February.
Yes! There will be a mandatory Scorekeepers Training session before the start of the season .
