7.  Will there be makeups if games are cancelled due to weather?
All games will be played indoors this season so we do not anticipate any cancellation due to weather conditions.

8.  What will be the game format?
To ensure that all players have plenty of chances to handle the ball, all age groups will use the 3-on-3, half-court format that has been so successful for our younger players. No matter your child’s ability level, they’ll have loads of chances to dribble, pass and shoot. And they’ll have a blast and develop strong basketball fundamentals along the way. There's a reason 3-on-3 is the most popular basketball format in the world, officially an Olympic sport: it's fast-paced, fun, and gives everyone tons of chance to handle the ball and get in on the action. Each team will have about 10 players. The team will be split into two squads of 5. Each squad will have 3 players on the floor and 2 substitutes (or less).

9.  When and where are the practices?

For Lower Divisions, practice will occur during the first 25 minutes of each week’s game.
For Upper Divisions, there are NO mandatory practices.

10.  Why is there no mandatory player assessment?
Our summer program offers great hoops action in a low-key setting, with no player draft, no standings, and no playoffs. Just fun with friends while developing basketball skills. The teams can be formed with friends and schoolmates at your request.

11.  My child has other activities (plays other sports) (plays in another league) (will be on vacation) during the season, is it okay to miss games?
Yes. Our summer program is very low key and fun-oriented. It is expected players may miss 1 or more games during the season.

12.  When will the coach contact me?
Teams will be formed in late-May. You should hear from your child's coach in early-June.

13.  What does the Registration Fee cover?

Personalized, reversible jersey and shorts (reusable in future season), court time, required janitorial service, CIF-qualified referees, and limited-edition commemorative pin.

For the non-competitive Lower Divisions (White, Red, Rose, Orange, Marigold, Yellow, Daffodil, Chartreuse, Orchid), studs intended solely to keep a new piercing from closing are acceptable if properly and completely covered with a bandage.
