Chance to Win $10,000!
During each celebration, one lucky player (or their parent/guardian) will have their name randomly selected to attempt a half court shot to win $10,000!
BOTH the player and a parent/guardian must be present in order to participate. If either the player or their parent/guardian are not present, a new contestant will be randomly selected. So please make sure you are there for a chance to participate in this amazing event!
What Should the Players and Coaches Wear?
All players wear their PVYBL uniforms and/or PVYBL merchandise.
LOWER Division players should wear the WHITE side.
UPPER Division players should wear the BLUE side.
All coaches should wear their PVYBL Coach Polo Shirts.
Parking
We are expecting a large crowd for each celebration. So please arrive early so that you have enough time to park and get checked in. Please enter through the main entrance off PV Drive East and you’ll be directed to park in the main lot until it is full and then you’ll be directed to park on the outdoor basketball courts behind the gym. Please carpool if at all possible and be patient with other families.
Please park only in the yellow areas marked below. Please do NOT park in any curbs marked with red or fire lanes. Violators will be towed at their own expense!
Check-In and Arrival
Only 1 representative per team (usually the coach) needs to report to the Check-In Area.
Players do NOT need to check-in. Instead, they should proceed directly to the gathering area and find their teammates. There will be balloons corresponding to each Division’s colors and signs with team names. (see diagram below) Coaches or a team representative should remain with the players at all times
Families may enter the Main Gym and sit on the bleachers at anytime. Please leave the first row open for the elderly and physically challenged.
Team Parade & Opening Day Celebration
At 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM, Parade Leaders will usher the teams from the Gathering Area to the Main Gym following the blue arrow path indicated on the maps. Upon entering the Main Gym, teams will be announced to the crowd as players are welcomed by the cheerleaders.
Players should remain with their teams on the court. Opening Day Celebration will begin immediately after all the teams have entered. There will be performances, on-court activities, and many prizes.
Food and Drinks
Food and drinks are NOT allowed inside the Gym.
